Tonight, February 13, riders will meet at 5:30 at Route 20 Bar and Grill for a last hurrah before the snow on the trails disappears this week. Chiseled fields are rough, but the Jane Addams is great, thanks to Jimmy Stimpert and the hours he has spent grooming.

Before you ride the Jane Addams Trail, there needs to be at least 4 inches of snow.

We know those wide open expanses are just calling us to lay the first tracks down, but we don't have permission to ride there. So stay on the marked trails.

Some riders have ignored the posted signs by Freeport Honda Kawasaki that read "Stay on Trail" and "Winter Wheat".  Actions like that are what loses club trails. Landowners are generous enough to allow us to use their land for a sport we love, have some respect for their property.

IASC raffle tickets are on sale from any club member. The grand prize this year is your choice of a destination trip with 4 nights stay and airfare for two to either Cabo San Lucas, Mexico or Fairmont Chaateau Lake Louise, Alberta Canada. Plus a chance for 28 other prizes including cash, gift cards and a stay at the Great Northern Hotel. Tickets are $5 each or 3 for $10.

 Stops on trails.

Thank you for supporting our FlapJack Fundraiser at Freeport's Applebee's on Saturday, November 4. We raised enough money to give all our landowners a $50 gift card. Without them, there would be no trails.

Club meetings will be held monthly from September thru April. We will meet on the 3rd Wednesday at 7:30 pm at Route 20 Bar and Grill which is at the intersection of AYP Road and Rt. 20 West outside of Freeport, Illinois.
